Prettier PVC Pipe – Finished

Here’s one of the two cylindrical tubes glazed and ready for an aquarium. I used Tucker’s Ocean glaze and Textured Kiwi Glaze. I can’t get enough of the kiwi. It always comes out so beautiful. Tube stands a little short of 7″.

 

Beautiful Urchin Vases and Vessels

Surface Decorating was cancelled this evening because of this morning snowstorm so I unfortunately don’t have anything to post this evening!

I am however, going to share with you some lovely thrown, altered and hand built ceramics from a lovely lady I found on Etsy. Her name is Roberta Polfus and I just absolutely love her work. I find a lot of her pieces are inspired by calcium carbonate structures and that really fascinates me, especially after taking many marine biology and ecology courses at the Marine Institute.
